The GeoFocus TIMSTAR™, Transportation Information Management Solutions for Transit and Rail, is a family of systems. It is a next-generation successor to the widely accepted GeoFocus TrainTrac® system currently in use on many major rail transit systems across the country. TIMSTAR™ is fully integrated and combines operational management information functionality with a state-of-the-art Passenger Information Display System (PIDS). This “next generation” product line is designed to address problems many transit agencies and OEM’s face today. Our solutions include:
- A high speed 100 Base-T intra-car and inter-car communications network.
- CCTV system to monitor and record multiple high resolution cameras across a consist.
- The integration of all on-board Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), communication, display and monitoring systems.
- Expand the I/O capabilities of the Vehicle Information Controller.
